We are now seeking an engaged research coordinator who wants to contribute to the development of clinical research within the University Hospital Unit (USVE), Public Dental Service Östergötland.

Job Description

As a research coordinator, you will play a key role in our clinical studies and research projects. You will plan and coordinate administrative processes within the research organization and support the work with ethical and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will also be responsible for documentation, logging, and archiving of studies, while coordinating patient flows and contributing to a smooth and quality-assured study process.

You will keep information updated on the intranet and in shared folders, and participate in the follow-up and reporting of research activities together with the research manager. The work also involves contributing to good communication and collaboration within research networks, meetings, and training, as well as providing support to researchers and clinical teams in the organization.

The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with the research manager for Public Dental Service Östergötland and the research activities within USVE, and you will report directly to the research manager.

About You

The assignment requires that you have education and experience as a dental nurse, dental hygienist, or another similar healthcare profession. Experience working in research, education, or development is an advantage. It is also an advantage if you have completed GCP training and have good knowledge of the Ethical Review Act, Biobank Act, GDPR, or other relevant regulations. You need to have good communication skills in both Swedish and English and be curious, positive towards development, and enjoy working independently, structured, and solution-oriented. At the same time, it is important that you appreciate close collaboration with others.
