Do you want to work with variety, responsibility, and service in a nature-oriented environment? Säfsen Resort is now looking for a caretaker who, together with the team, wants to help develop the department towards a more proactive, structured, and reliable way of working.

As a caretaker, you are an important part of the guest experience – you ensure that our buildings, cabins, and areas function as they should, year-round.

Your main responsibilities

Daily maintenance & operations

Ongoing and preventive maintenance of buildings, rental units, and outdoor areas.

Operation and supervision of ventilation, plumbing, electricity, and alarm systems – as well as contact with contractors when needed.

Snow removal, waste management, and lawn mowing in collaboration with contractors.

Conduct safety rounds and follow routines for fire safety and work environment.

Proactive work

Conduct rounds to detect and prevent operational disruptions.

Follow and document work in annual cycles and systems (R360, property module).

Perform tasks according to agreements with the housing associations in Säfsen.

Documentation & structure

Document completed actions in R360 and register assignments for invoicing (Excel/property module).

Register work to be charged to cabin owners according to agreements.

Keep order in storage, manage inventory, and handle material orders.

Collaboration & service

Collaborate with other departments and assist with simple carpentry work, signage, and other practical tasks.

Contribute to improvement work and a culture where feedback is valued.

Distribute tasks within the team as needed and contribute to a good work environment.

We are looking for someone who

Has experience in property maintenance, practical work, or similar service professions.

Is meticulous, structured, and confident with documentation and system support.

Enjoys variety and is good at solving problems – both urgent and preventive.

Has a good ability to collaborate with colleagues and create positive guest experiences.

Likes to work independently but also contribute to a team.
