Webhallen is on a significant development and transformation journey, and we are now looking for an experienced Category Sales Manager who wants to help drive one of our strategic focus categories. The role is suitable for you who thrives in a dynamically fast-paced organization with clear goals and good opportunities to influence the direction of the business.

Your primary mission is to develop, improve, and manage the category by driving profitable growth within the CE/Consumer Electronics business area, which includes areas such as Vision, Audio & Accessories, and Season & Climate. You will be part of the Category Sales team and report to the Sales Director.

About the role:

As a Category Sales Manager, you are responsible for maximizing sales and margins within your category, including planning and forecasting sales and margins for your category, as well as implementing the category, brand, and assortment strategy defined by the central commercial team. You are responsible for the go-to-market strategy for your category at Webhallen.

Furthermore, you are responsible for continuously working to increase the profitability of your category, including strategically integrating the brands and products at Webhallen defined by the central team, ensuring that Webhallen has good access to key products, and working intensively to increase sales of accessories and other high-margin products.

In your role, you will have close communication with the central category team in the group and be responsible for conveying goals and wishes regarding business requirements for revenue and margin, as well as identifying and communicating opportunities for further development and growth within your business area. You will also collaborate closely with several other teams within Webhallen, including operational purchasing, marketing, commercial marketing, and retail, as well as the central team in Komplett Group, to ensure that your category meets the set sales targets.

The role includes, among other things:

  • Budget and result responsibility for the category
  • Sales planning and forecasting with an understanding of inventory management
  • Implementation and integration of commercial strategy
  • Maximizing sales and profitability
  • Stakeholder Management – working with other roles and functions internally and externally

Education and experience:

  • Several years of documented experience in a similar role with result responsibility
  • Experience from category work and/or sales responsibility within the same industry
  • Experience from retail in companies with both digital and physical presence
  • Experience from companies undergoing change
  • Post-secondary education in sales and purchasing is an advantage

Practical information:

  • The position is a permanent employment (probationary period applies)
