Your Role

Do you have experience in incoming inspection and a strong interest in quality? Do you want to be part of an organization whose purpose is to protect people and society? Then this could be the role for you!

As an Incoming Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of incoming materials against previously established requirements. This is done by:

  • Inspecting documentation.
  • Handling measuring equipment to measure critical dimensions.

In your role, you will work closely with various functions within Saab. For example, you will have a close dialogue with our planning function, which takes over when you have completed your work. You will also collaborate closely with your immediate colleagues.

You are an important part of the process of ensuring the quality of the materials we purchase as a company. Saab is currently on a development journey, and you now have the opportunity to influence and develop together with the team - while ensuring that our materials meet the highest possible quality standards.

Your Profile

A prerequisite is that you are a team player and used to working in teams and projects while having a good ability to handle tasks independently. You thrive in a job where you develop and have the opportunity to drive processes forward with precision and quality. Since the work involves a lot of internal contacts, it is important that you have good communication skills and enjoy being the spider in the web.

Requirements for the position:

  • You have previous experience working with document review, inspection, and can handle measuring equipment.
  • Good knowledge of speaking, reading, and writing in Swedish and English.
  • Blueprint reading.

Desirable for the position:

  • Experience in material control within the defense industry.
  • Experience in process/supplier assurance.
  • Measurement technology experience.
  • Experience with IFS.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
