In the role of project manager, you will plan, lead, and follow up on our industrial projects, from quotes and calculations to execution and delivery. You are responsible for ensuring that the project adheres to timelines, budgets, and quality, as well as creating smooth collaboration between clients, suppliers, and internal resources.

You will work closely with the business and have significant influence over how projects are executed. At VIMAB, you will benefit from short decision-making paths, freedom under responsibility, and the opportunity to develop in an environment where quality and safety are always at the forefront.

We are looking for someone with experience in construction, assembly, or manufacturing in steel, piping, or mechanics, as well as experience in assembly management. You have a good understanding of contracting processes and contracting law (AB and ABT), and are accustomed to driving projects with a focus on timelines, quality, and finance.

You are structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy taking responsibility while communicating confidently with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors. Experience in steel contracting, process contracting, or mechanical contracting is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of contracting law (AB and ABT)
• Project management experience with responsibility for finance, timelines, and quality
• Practical experience in construction, assembly, or manufacturing in steel, piping, or mechanics
• Experience working as BAS-U and BAS-P in previous projects
• Good computer skills and experience with the Office suite
• Driver's license B
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Experience from VA projects (waterworks, treatment plants) and/or hydropower
• Welding competence (IWS, welding responsibility, or equivalent)
• CAD competence – ability to read and understand drawings, basic modeling or editing
• Experience with total contracts
