About Our Open Position

We are looking for a specialist physician in oncology who wants to strengthen our team characterized by good collegial community, a positive work climate, and excellent mentoring opportunities.

As a specialist physician, you will also have the opportunity to initiate and drive development based on knowledge and interest in consultation with the rest of the team. You will mentor resident and specialist training physicians as well as medical students.

In this position, you will care for patients with oncological diseases in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The role includes on-call duties.

About Us

The Hematology and Oncology Unit consists of an inpatient ward, oncology clinic, hematology clinic, hematology day care, and oncology day care. We specialize in caring for patients with hematological and oncological conditions. Cancer care is constantly evolving, with ongoing research, and many of our patients participate in research studies conducted within the unit, creating a development-oriented and exciting work environment.

We are a close-knit and secure team that works together, learns from each other, and is supported by engaged leaders.

Your Profile

You are a licensed physician with a specialist certificate in oncology or internal medicine. You have a command of Swedish at a level equivalent to C1. Experience in oncological care is an asset. You may have research experience or a desire to conduct research. You possess a high degree of personal maturity, enjoy independent work combined with collaboration across professional boundaries, and have a good rapport with patients and colleagues. Personal suitability is of great importance.
