System Leader at FMV

Do you want to be part of driving the development of future methods and tools for system management within a vital government agency? As a system leader with us, you will play a central role in shaping how we work with system management, design, and method development – both within the agency and in close collaboration with the Armed Forces.

About the Position

In the role of system leader at our management and finance staff, you will have the opportunity to combine your experience with a strategic and development-oriented approach. You will contribute to further developing existing methods, identifying new needs, and creating solutions that streamline work, shorten lead times, and improve the quality of our deliveries. You will be responsible for one or more methods within system management and be a key person in driving improvement work that makes a real difference for the organization.

As a system leader, you will lead overarching system and design work and conduct analyses and investigations regarding method support for system management. You will drive change work, including the digitization of tools for system management, and have a coordinating role in assignments that span multiple operational areas.

The position is based in Stockholm.

About You

We are looking for someone with an education as a civil or engineering graduate, or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we assess as comparable. You have current and relevant experience in design or system management in cross-functional projects, where collaboration between different areas of expertise has been central. To succeed in the role, it is essential that you have relevant experience in project management or as a team leader and enjoy taking responsibility in complex contexts. The position requires good knowledge of both Swedish and English, in speech and writing.

It is advantageous if you have participated in goal-setting work and requirements specification of complex systems.

We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes responsibility for their tasks, plans and structures their work efficiently, and drives processes forward. You have good collaboration skills, work well with others, and relate to people in a responsive and smooth manner. You communicate clearly and resolve conflicts constructively. You have the ability to lead, motivate, and create engagement while thinking strategically and seeing the big picture in complex issues. Your analytical skills allow you to quickly identify the core of problems and contribute with thoughtful, sustainable solutions.
