Project Managers Wanted at Riksbank
Sveriges RiksbankStockholms län, Stockholm
Previous experience is desired
Riksbank is looking for project managers
The Riksbank is seeking experienced, engaged, and responsible project managers who want to lead the renovation of the Riksbank's headquarters located at Brunkebergstorg in Stockholm.
WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US
The Riksbank's property (property designation Riksbankshuset Skansen 20), designed by architect Peter Celsing and completed in 1976, is in need of renovation and maintenance to extend the property's lifespan. Technical installations need to be replaced, and care for architectural values must be carried out. The building's energy consumption needs to be reduced, and the premises need to be adapted to better support modern working methods.
Since 2007, Riksbankshuset has been classified as blue according to the cultural-historical classification of the City Museum of Stockholm, which is the highest class and is thus considered to have exceptionally high cultural-historical value.
The Riksbank's premises are subject to high security requirements, which affects both information management (document and drawing management) as well as working methods and production/construction.
The project is currently working to translate operational requirements into a system document and needs to strengthen the organization to be well-prepared for implementation.
The Riksbank currently has an employed project manager responsible for planning, design, and implementation of the project, and we are now looking for additions to the unit who, in close collaboration with our project manager, will be part of a robust and unpretentious organization.
We are looking for project managers responsible for driving complex projects from start to finish. This means a holistic perspective, planning, and organizing, but with different focus areas. For one of the positions, this means broader strategic responsibility, while another position has a greater technical focus and requires experience in leading large and complex contracts.
THE TEAM
The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The unit for property and service belongs to the department for internal governance and operational support and consists of twelve employees, responsible both operationally and strategically for the Riksbank's premises and local supply. The workgroup includes internal service managers, technical managers, property engineers, and project managers, and together we deliver high-quality premises with the right service.
