Your role:

As Application Manager, you will lead and coordinate the management of our applications with a focus on usability, efficiency, security, and continuous development. You are responsible for driving local application governance in line with Boliden Rönnskär's policies and standards, and you will support the implementation of our new IT operational model.

Your tasks:

  • Coordinate and drive application management – from planning to execution.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and manage support cases.
  • Support business-initiated projects with advice, access, and documentation.
  • Contribute to the development of other applications where dependencies exist.
  • Lead and support the change process according to ITIL.
  • Promote automation through ITSM tools and ensure complete documentation.
  • Maintain contact with internal business representatives and external suppliers.
  • Actively contribute to IT security efforts.

Your team:

The position is a permanent full-time employment located at Rönnskär. You will report to the IT Manager and be part of a small team where we together drive the development of smarter and more efficient Agile methods and working practices. The everyday life here is characterized by collaboration, team spirit, and genuine commitment – with a shared desire to contribute to development.

Your contribution:

We prefer that you have a relevant higher education degree in IT, computer science, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience. Important for the role is also that you have previous experience working in IT and project management and have an interest in both technology and business development.

To succeed in the role, you are self-driven, take initiative, and have a strong drive. You see change and development as an opportunity and have a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to see the big picture.

You communicate clearly, collaborate well with various stakeholders, and contribute to a positive work environment. Your service mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to think long-term make you an important part of our team.

Meritorious:

  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Azure
  • Experience in project management or other leadership roles
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and ITIL processes
