About the project

We are looking for a Monitoring Project Manager for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) who will work with the region's most complex road constructions. The assignment includes road tunnels and other facilities within Region East where high demands are placed on safety, accessibility, and coordination. The work contributes to maintaining a safe and efficient infrastructure in collaboration with several stakeholders in the region.

About the role

As a Monitoring Project Manager for the Swedish Transport Administration, you will be a key person in the effort to protect and coordinate Trafikverket's complex road facilities. The role involves close collaboration with internal operational areas, municipalities, and external stakeholders to ensure that Trafikverket's facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Monitoring and following up on external development and construction projects that may affect Trafikverket's road facilities.
• Ensuring that external projects meet Trafikverket's requirements for safety, operation, and accessibility.
• Identifying risks and proposing measures to protect the functionality of the facilities.
• Collaborating with municipalities, developers, authorities, and Trafikverket's internal units.
• Participating in planning, consultations, and design within the framework of community planning and development.
• Assisting in pre-project planning, execution, and follow-up of projects.
• Documenting and reporting activities and decisions in Trafikverket's system CHAOS.
• Participating in assignment meetings and contributing to feedback after completed projects.

Mandatory requirements

1. Technical university education (at least a bachelor's degree, 180 credits) in civil engineering, construction, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering, or other technical orientation deemed relevant by the client.
2. The resource must have at least five (5) years of documented experience in project management within infrastructure and construction projects, with a particular focus on road and tunnel projects or other complex facilities. The experience must have been acquired within the last ten (10) years and include projects with a total project scope of at least 100 million SEK.
3. The resource must have at least three (3) years of documented experience in leading or coordinating work with quality and safety in construction projects, with specific experience from complex road or tunnel constructions.
4. The experience must have been acquired within the last five (5) years and can be substantiated through reference projects or other relevant documentation. Completed formal training in contract law, such as university courses, certified training, or equivalent, and be able to explain the application of the law in practical projects.
5. The resource must have documented experience working in case management systems such as DevOps or equivalent, for registration, follow-up, and reporting of cases and documentation. The experience must have been acquired within the last five (5) years and constitute a continuous and integrated part of the resource's daily work tasks.
6. Driver's license B.
7. Training in Work on the Road. APV steps 1.1 and 1.2, according to TDOK 2018:0371 (requirement in all sub-assignments). Proof of completed and approved training must be presented before the start of contract work.

Assignment information

Contract period: Assignment start from 2026-01-01 to 2028-02-29.

Option: The client has the option to extend the contract period with existing contract terms for an additional (1+1+1) years.

Scope: approx. 100-150% based on an annual working time of 1700 hours.

The stationing location for project follow-up is Solna.
