ABOUT THE POSITION

HewSaw Sweden AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Veisto Group, a world-leading supplier of breakdown machines for the sawmill industry. At their office in Sundsvall, where their service center is located, 13 people currently work, and as the demand for their machines increases, they now need to strengthen their team with another employee further up north.

As a service technician, you will have a varied job where you are responsible for assembly, commissioning, service, and maintenance of HewSaw's advanced machines at customer sites – primarily in Sweden and Finland. You will be an important link between the customers and HewSaw, working closely with colleagues in Sweden and Finland.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Tasks

  • Assemble and commission saw machines
  • Upgrade and adjust existing saw machine equipment
  • Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on existing machines
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems on-site at customer locations

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has a post-secondary education in machinery or equivalent experience
  • Has several years of experience in a similar role
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, Finnish, and English, as it is required in dialogue with customers
  • Holds a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience in hydraulics and/or pneumatics
  • Welding skills
  • Experience with extensive travel

Additional Information:

  • You will belong to the service center in Sundsvall, but the work will be based from your home office
  • As the job involves a lot of travel in both Sweden and Finland, you should enjoy varying working hours
