Riksbank is looking for a Project Manager

The Riksbank is facing several challenging and exciting real estate and local projects and therefore needs to strengthen its ability to lead these projects. You will have the opportunity to work alongside knowledgeable and engaged colleagues and collaborate with other authorities and central banks in Europe.

WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

The Riksbank both rents premises and owns a number of properties. This means that the Riksbank acts as a developer, tenant, and requirement setter for local adaptations towards the property owner. In parallel with the operational local assignment, the real estate unit works on continuous development of methods and processes to constantly improve our mission.

You will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and implementing the Riksbank's local-related projects, primarily involving internal relocations. You will be responsible for both strategic and operational issues related to relocation coordination and workplace strategy.

Your main tasks:

• Lead, coordinate, and independently manage both larger and smaller real estate, local, installation, and relocation projects.
• Lead the project organization through the entire project from feasibility study and procurement to final inspection, furnishing, and equipping the premises.
• Ensure that regulatory requirements, Riksbank requirements, the Public Procurement Act (LOU), and contract law are followed, with responsibility for quality, economy, and follow-up.
• Plan premises for relocation projects and allocate spaces for operations in the new premises, collaborate with and inform the operations.
• Order any operational adaptations and furnish the new premises. Plan and execute the relocation.

In your internal project organization, you may have sub-project managers for security, IT, and possibly other functions. You will report project progress and finances to the steering group and the head of real estate.

YOUR TEAM

The Riksbank consists of nine departments. The property and service unit belongs to the department for internal governance and operational support and consists of twelve employees responsible both operationally and strategically for the Riksbank's premises and local supply. In the workgroup, there are internal service managers, technical managers, property engineers, and project managers, and together we deliver premises with high quality and the right service. In the local projects we lead, we have close collaboration with both the security unit, the IT and digitalization department, and with the operations that will utilize the premises.

MORE ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant higher education, for example in property management, logistics, project management, or other experience that we consider equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in leading local projects and workplace changes as well as relocation planning.
• Experience in strategic local supply.
• Experience in project management of premises related to critical societal operations and/or protected objects.
• Experience in economic management, reporting, and documentation.
• Comfort and confidence in conducting project reports to clients and steering groups.
• Knowledge of legislation and requirements for the construction and real estate industry.
• Experience with LOU and contract management.
• Good IT skills.
• Strong ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Swedish driver's license as travel is required in the position.

The following are advantageous:

• Knowledge of contract law and experience in contract negotiations.
• Experience with security protection agreements.
• Experience in physical security and fire safety.

Possibility to work remotely: 1 or 2 days a week
