DC Talents is now assisting our client in finding two PMI Technicians. The positions are located in Finspång.

This is a consultancy assignment for an initial period of 6 months with an immediate start desired. You will be employed by DC Talents and leased to the client during the assignment, with the ambition that you will then transition to a direct employment with the client, provided that all parties are satisfied.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a PMI Technician, you will play a central role in ensuring that materials and components meet high-quality standards. You will work with Positive Material Identification (PMI) – a technique used to verify that materials comply with documented specifications. Using handheld X-ray equipment, you will perform measurements and analyses that contribute to high traceability and quality in the client's processes.

The work is varied and involves both independent efforts and close collaboration with colleagues, other departments, and external parties. The location for the work may vary depending on the project and client, and there may also be varying working hours depending on project needs.

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform PMI inspections using handheld X-ray equipment to identify material composition
• Ensure that materials comply with current specifications
• Contribute to maintaining traceability and quality in the company's processes
• Document and report inspection results according to established procedures
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in various projects

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone with experience in roles that require precision, high quality, and a fast pace. If you have the ability to read and interpret drawings and have previously worked with quality assurance or non-destructive testing (NDT), it is highly meritorious. It is a requirement that you can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Basic knowledge of the Office suite and a general interest in technology and data are important prerequisites.
