Future Cost Engineer Wanted for Exciting Projects in Helsingborg!

About the position: We are seeking someone with at least five (5) years of experience in a production or specialist role with experience in cost estimation and bidding work within the civil engineering industry.

We work on a wide range of exciting projects in North-West Skåne, with a workplace at our office in Helsingborg on Ängelholmsvägen or out on projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare bid and contract calculations as well as production calculations
• Documentation and follow-up of ongoing and completed projects
• Support the site manager in procurement work and financial matters in the project
• Support production in matters regarding production planning, project economy, construction law, and contract administration
• Contact with clients and subcontractors

Requirements for the position:

• Technical or economic education as a civil engineer or equivalent
• At least 5 years of experience in a production or specialist role with experience in cost estimation and bidding work in the civil engineering industry
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working with cost estimation tasks
• Experience with MAP and BlueBeam
• Experience in submitting text bids

About you: You are a problem solver with good numerical and analytical skills. You are structured and good at planning and driving your work forward towards set goals and deadlines. You have a businesslike and trustworthy manner and are good at communicating and collaborating. You understand the value of building and maintaining good relationships both internally and externally. You have a strong commitment to your work and an aptitude for numbers and financial awareness. We submit many text bids, so it is beneficial if you have a good ability to handle large amounts of information and compile texts for the bids we submit.
