Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work broadly with both technical and strategic issues. You will participate in project planning and procurement, manage earthworks and stormwater issues, and work with environmental permits, site selection, and financial follow-ups.

The work involves close collaboration with the port strategist, earthworks coordinator, lawyer, development engineer, and representatives. You will be responsible for driving and following up projects based on established goals regarding time, resources, and finances, and may also participate in the procurement of consulting services and contracts as well as develop project descriptions. The assignment includes leading the design work until a complete request for proposal is ready. The project support system Antura is used for planning and follow-up.

In addition to project-related work, the role may also encompass issues related to the management and development of existing port facilities, where you contribute to long-term planning, maintenance, and optimization of the port's infrastructure.

An important part of the role is to represent the city's interests towards the port operator CMP (Copenhagen Malmö Port AB) and other external stakeholders. Together with CMP, you will drive and follow up investments in the port and plan for handover to operations. You have overall responsibility for ensuring that projects deliver according to set goals and contribute to the port's long-term development.

The Property and Street Office is a broad and varied organization with many professional roles and assignments. Qualifications

You have at least five years of experience working with the management of land, buildings, and facilities or as a project manager in infrastructure. The role also requires experience collaborating with external actors and stakeholders as well as the ability to follow up and report on project finances.

It is advantageous if you have experience in design, investment projects, and management of port facilities. Experience in port operations or another similar technical environment is seen as a benefit, as well as insight into how municipal investments and development projects are driven from planning to implementation.

You have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of CAD, a good understanding of Danish, and experience with project tools that support planning, follow-up, and reporting are advantageous.

As a person, you have a well-developed ability to collaborate and thrive in a role where technology meets community benefit. You work independently, plan and structure your work effectively, and take responsibility for driving tasks forward. You communicate clearly and build trust in your contacts with colleagues, partners, and external stakeholders.
