E.ON is an energy company with a heart for sustainability, operating in a constantly changing market where a new energy landscape is emerging and the demand for renewable energy is increasing. We are driving the transition, renewing Sweden, and we want our care for the future to permeate everything we do. Everyone is different here, but we have one thing in common. We are passionate about driving the transition to renewable and recycled energy in society. We do this through innovation, engagement, and a sense of responsibility. And above all – we do it together!

Do you want to help build the future's electricity grid and contribute to the green transition? We are now looking for a Project Manager for the Local Network Distribution Stockholm team and the Customer Delivery team.
About us
At E.ON, we believe that a sustainable future is shaped together. We know that diversity, community, and different perspectives are crucial to succeed in our journey towards a climate-smart society and to shape future energy solutions. Within Local Network Distribution Stockholm and Customer Delivery, we are about 45 colleagues working closely together in an environment characterized by openness, collaboration, and where you can grow and make a difference – every day. Together with our customers and contractors, we build an accessible and future-proof electricity grid. We are now looking for you who want to lead that change – and at the same time develop in the role of project manager with us.

About the role
As a Project Manager at E.ON, you will be offered a meaningful role where you contribute to Sweden's green transition. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving projects within local networks – from idea to implementation. Whether you are working with new connections or reinvestments, you will have a key role in our projects. Here, technology, communication, and leadership are combined – and you will follow the entire project's journey from the first thought to final delivery.
In your role, you will be responsible for the business towards our contractors by conducting field visits, following up on budget and quality, and playing a valuable role in creating good collaboration with customers, designers, municipalities, landowners, and other stakeholders.

Examples of tasks:

  • Initiate and follow up projects – including reviewing planning, preparations, and calculations
  • Lead projects forward through dialogue, field visits, and follow-ups
  • Perform financial follow-ups and ensure high quality in delivery
  • Create good relationships and collaboration with external actors to contribute together to a safe, sustainable, and modern electricity grid
The position is based at our office in Solna.

Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience in project management, preferably within energy, contracting, or another related industry. In this role, business acumen and the ability to build good and meaningful relationships are valuable – both with internal and external contacts you will have in your daily work. As a person, you are responsible, structured, and used to coordinating multiple stakeholders to drive projects forward in a safe and efficient manner. You are also attentive, solution-focused, and have a communicative ability that creates engagement and clarity. You do not need to know everything from day one – what is important is that you are curious, want to develop, and have a natural drive to see things happen.

We believe you have:
  • Experience leading projects in a technical environment
  • Ability to structure, prioritize, and coordinate to keep the whole together in the best way
  • A responsive, clear, and inclusive communication style
  • Drive to create results – with care and long-term thinking
With us, you will get:
  • Work in an engaged team with high trust and freedom under responsibility
  • An inclusive work environment with a strong focus on well-being and balance
  • Generous benefits – such as extended working time reduction, health insurance, and free healthcare
  • Opportunities to influence the future energy system - for real
