Do you love engines, cars, and trucks? Do you want to work with testing for real – where you get to see how things work in reality and not just on paper? Then this job is for you!

What you will do

As a testing engineer, you will be the one ensuring that the oil systems meet the standards. You will:

• Test components and systems – pressure, flow, purification, temperature.
• Conduct tests both in trucks and on rigs.
• Keep track of the entire chain: book cell times, equip engines with articles and sensors, follow tests, and document results.
• Write reports (in English) and collaborate with designers, project leaders, and calibration teams.
• Work closely with suppliers and participate in cross-functional projects.

This is a practical job where you will be on-site in Södertälje (with some remote work when writing reports). You will receive a good introduction and a senior mentor to guide you.

A person who enjoys discussing technology and driving things forward. You are communicative, social, and enjoy presenting your ideas. When something goes wrong, you see it as a challenge – you find solutions and collaborate with the designers to get the job done. In short: you are a doer who likes to make things happen.

You need to have

• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• An interest in engines and vehicles.
• Good proficiency in English.
• A valid driver's license (willingness to obtain a C license is a plus).

A background check will be conducted before employment for this role. In some cases, Swedish citizenship may be required, or alternatively, citizenship within the EU.

Extra plus if you have

• Experience in testing (thesis work or other).
• Knowledge of the Swedish language.
• Proficiency in Matlab and Excel.

Practical information

• Salary: approx. 35,000–37,000 SEK/month for a bachelor's degree engineer.
