Enköping Municipality's Dementia Center is now looking for a dedicated employee to join our dementia team. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with people, provide support and guidance, and contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for both individuals with dementia and their relatives.

The dementia team is an important resource in the municipality – we offer support, training, and guidance to residents, relatives, and employees within health and care services. Together, we create an operation where knowledge, empathy, and quality are at the center.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As part of the dementia team, you will become a key person in the work of providing the best possible support and care for individuals with cognitive impairments.

Examples of job responsibilities:

• Be a part of the hub for support and care for individuals with dementia and their relatives
• Conduct home visits and provide support in contacts with case managers, healthcare providers, and relatives
• Educate, guide, and lead discussion groups for relatives and employees within health and care services
• Work both independently and in a team
• Contribute with security and social competence in vulnerable situations

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is:

• Licensed nurse or other health care professional with further education in dementia
• Specialized nursing assistant in dementia
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Holds a valid driver's license (B)

We would also like you to have:

• Experience working with individuals with dementia
• The ability to guide and educate both clients, relatives, and colleagues
• Strong social competence and the ability to create security in interactions with people
