Description of the position as a nursing assistant

As a nursing assistant working night shifts, you are required to work independently and have extensive experience in the field. You are responsible for ensuring that the user has a good quality of life by meeting individual needs based on the care plans established and the organization's guidelines and objectives.

You provide support in daily life for the user and assist with what the person needs help with, such as administering medication, assisting with hygiene, dressing/undressing, and social interaction. The role of a nursing assistant also includes some administrative tasks such as documentation and scheduling.

Qualifications

Three-year nursing program, nursing assistant training, other training deemed equivalent, or work experience in the field. We are looking for someone who is responsible and has an easy time collaborating, has knowledge and experience in the area, is positive, and has a strong interest and commitment that you can easily translate into practical actions in the unit.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

About Karl Nordströmsvägs elderly home

Karl Nordströmsväg is a cozy elderly home located in Varberg, Apelviken, close to nature and the sea. Karl Nordströmsväg has 51 accommodation places distributed over 4 houses. Two houses are focused on dementia, while the remaining two are somatic. Each house has common areas such as a kitchen, balconies, and a dining room/lounge where residents socialize, have meals, watch TV, or enjoy a cup of coffee.

Employment type: permanent

Scope: 85% according to agreement

Start date: According to agreement

Probationary employment: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. There are two positions available.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present a criminal record extract. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
