As a Mechanical Designer, you will be a central part of a team responsible for customizing electric trucks. You will translate customer needs into technical specifications and develop innovative solutions. In this role, you will see the results of your work in reality and collaborate closely with colleagues, production, and customers on a daily basis, in a fast-paced environment focused on delivery. We are looking for someone with knowledge in mechanics and 3D drawing in CAD. In addition to technical competence, drive, commitment, and a genuine interest in the field are valued. This is a hire-purchase arrangement with an initial employment at Academic Work before a recruitment takes place.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The work involves designing and customizing mechanical solutions for electric trucks, from concept to finished product, in a customer-oriented environment.

• Translate customer needs into technical specifications.
• Develop innovative solutions and see them take physical form.
• Be technically cohesive and coordinate development across different disciplines.
• Resolve technical challenges in close collaboration with production and customers.
• Construct modifications based on customer requests.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has knowledge in mechanics and design through a civil or engineering degree or equivalent experience from the workforce.
• Has good knowledge of 3D CAD systems.
• Has a good practical understanding, preferably a practical hobby or project.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you have work experience in mechanics and design.
