We are now looking for a Systems Engineer for the Tillage department, with several years of experience in embedded systems who wants to join Väderstad on their journey forward.
Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Systems Engineer, you will be involved in the entire chain from product idea to testing on physical machines. You will work with system technical investigations, requirements management, design, and verification within software/electronics, with the possibility to program. Väderstad is at the forefront of control systems for agricultural machines, which means that new ideas are necessary and innovation is allowed to take place.
Your main tasks include, among others:
· Being the primary technical contact for Väderstad AB’s control systems within Tillage
· Developing Väderstad’s control systems, both new development and further development of existing systems
· Participating in developing functions and clear technical specifications for Väderstad’s control systems
· Collaborating closely with development, testing, service, and production
QualificationsWe are looking for someone with documented experience working as a systems engineer. Your technical understanding, both practical and theoretical, has been built up through previous work experience. You can communicate fluently with development teams and other stakeholders both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English. A relevant college or university education in engineering is an advantage.
If you have worked with software development in C/C++, functional safety, process development, system architecture, or worked in various technical areas, that is also an advantage.
The most important thing is that you are the right person. There is a good team in the department today with a great atmosphere, so we see that drive and initiative are important qualities for you to thrive. To be able to perform the job with quality, attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving will be beneficial. Working independently as well as together with others to achieve good results is a simple match for you!
