Region Västernorrland's Property Management operates as a revenue-funded unit. The purpose of Property Management is to create, adapt, and manage a well-composed portfolio of suitable premises based on customer needs and responsible property ownership. As a landlord, we are responsible for local supply, management, and maintenance of the region's properties. In the leasing and rental of premises, we are responsible for rent administration.

For new, renovation, and expansion projects, we are responsible for procurement, project management, and control. The total area managed amounts to approximately 500,000 m2 of usable space. Furthermore, Property Management is responsible for strategic and long-term property issues such as energy efficiency, investment planning, and buying and selling properties.

We are now looking for a facility technician focusing on perimeter security, safety, and Medical Gas for Property Management in Sollefteå. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-03-01 or by agreement.

Your main responsibilities as a facility technician will be the operation and maintenance of our properties. This means you will work with operations and maintenance in the areas of perimeter security, safety, medical gas, supervision of central gas facilities, ventilation, control & regulation, plumbing, electrical, gas, cooling, fire alarm systems, etc. Participation in projects, facility changes, energy optimization, and standby duty will also be part of the job.

Examples of responsibilities included in the role are:

• Participation in projects, facility changes, energy optimization
• Perform supervision and maintenance measures regarding the properties' operational and maintenance needs
• Receive fault reports and assess actions on them
• Plan preventive measures
• Participate in authority inspections and ensure that any necessary actions are taken to meet authority requirements regarding the properties

We are looking for someone who

• Has training as a facility technician or equivalent work experience deemed relevant by the employer
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have training as a facility technician
• Have knowledge of medical gases and gas management
• Have training as a facility manager for fire alarms, sprinklers, and responsible for flammable goods
• Have training in Hot Work
• Have previously worked with perimeter security, safety, administration, and handling of keys and access control systems
• Have previous experience in service/maintenance
