Welcome to When Health Kärra Health Center and BVC! We are located in Norra Hisingen, 12 km from Gothenburg Central Station, 13 km from Kungälv's travel center, and 7 km from Angered Center.

We are a well-functioning health center with approximately 9,600 listed patients, stable staffing, and good finances. The health center is located near Kärra Center, next to beautiful nature, and within walking distance from the commuter station with the possibility of free parking.

With us, specialists in general medicine, ST doctors, district and nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, social workers, rehabilitation coordinators, and medical secretaries work. The health center has well-developed specialist nurse clinics in diabetes, asthma/COPD, medical consultations, child health care, and laboratory.

We are 26 employees who enjoy working together, have a friendly and helpful work climate with great commitment and joy at work. The atmosphere is relaxed, playful, and we care about each other. About the job

Your tasks at the health center span a wide range of work and encompass general medical competence with patients of all ages and situations. You work independently and variably with outpatient work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist, who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you a varied job with good development opportunities. If you are interested in a free and varied job with the patient where your and your colleagues' work environment is in focus, this job is for you.

We are a fully equipped health center with good rooms for gynecological examinations, rectoscopy examinations, and examinations of the ears, nose, and throat. We have ear and eye microscopes, diathermy for surgeries, and we also perform cryotherapy. There is also the possibility to take responsibility for patients in care and nursing homes if interested.

About you

You are a licensed physician with the authority to operate within Swedish health care and have an interest in primary care and doing ST training in general medicine. You have language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

We are looking for someone who is attentive and has a good attitude since you will meet many different patients at the health center. You enjoy teamwork and for you, it is a matter of course to collaborate with colleagues and other partners in the work.

Interviews at the health center take place continuously during the application period.

The position is a temporary position for 6 months, with the possibility of extension and ST training.

For those of you who have trained as a doctor abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain medical authorization, you are covered by the new regulations regarding Basic Training from July 1, 2021. Basic Training for doctors (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of the specialization training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8). This means that you need to complete BT before or as an introductory part of your ST.
