If you are at the beginning of your career as an engineer and want to take the step to test your wings as a Junior Project Manager, this could be the role for you! Selection is ongoing.

Cummins is part of the global corporation Cummins Inc., which delivers complete powertrain solutions to the heavy-duty vehicle industry – including engines, axles, brakes, and electrified components. The facility in Lindesberg focuses on the production and development of powertrain components and drives several investment and product projects in collaboration with other European units. They have their own MES and quality system that is continuously developed, and part of the work involves driving improvements in that system together with local and global colleagues.

In the role of Junior Project Manager, you will be part of the technical department consisting of 11 people – a mix of Engineers, Project Managers, and IT/system specialists. The team is responsible for all investments, product projects, and technical activities in the factory. Your focus will be on driving ongoing projects forward, planning activities, and coordinating work between engineering, maintenance, and production. It is a varied role with a lot of personal responsibility and a wide range of tasks, where you need to be structured, solution-oriented, and have a logistical mindset.

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in, for example, mechanical engineering or industrial economics
• Has experience from production or technical work
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish and English, as both languages are used in daily work

As a person, we see that you are organized, communicative, and meticulous. You enjoy having many points of contact to collaborate with different departments and possess leadership qualities to plan and coordinate various projects.

This is a consultancy assignment for about 6 months where you will be employed as a consultant through Friday.
