With a location in Växjö, Micropower is now seeking a control systems engineer focused on developing and designing software for projects within the battery industry. If you want to be part of Micropower's ever-changing world and embark on an exciting journey forward, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities and Duties

You will be responsible for creating solutions with a focus on functionality and safety. The role includes designing and constructing solutions for battery systems in customer projects, as well as testing both software and complete systems. You will also provide support for new project inquiries by developing new designs for specific systems tailored to the customer's unique requirements. The role requires experience as a control and regulation engineer, in-depth knowledge of programming, and electrical systems. Your main responsibilities include:

• Technical documentation, responsible for creating and updating technical documentation.
• Coordination and collaboration, working with project managers, engineers, and other departments to ensure that projects meet all technical and time requirements.
• Standardization, ensuring that all designs comply with applicable standards and regulations for software as well as MP standards.
• Quality control, checking and verifying that software and documentation are correct and meet quality requirements.

Your Profile

As a control systems engineer at Micropower, it is important that you have strong problem-solving skills, where you analyze technical challenges and find effective solutions. You work meticulously and detail-oriented. You have good communication skills and can convey technical information clearly, both in writing and verbally.

You enjoy working both independently and in teams, and you are a person who likes to take initiative and responsibility. You are structured in your work while being open and humble in your approach to collaborating with colleagues. As a team player, you easily adapt to different situations and see technology as both an interesting and inspiring area to develop within.

Experience and Competence

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of electrical power, automotive.
• Experience in programming and software development.
• Competence in integrating various technical systems, sensors, and actuators, as well as working with industrial communication protocols such as MODBUS, OPC UA, Ethernet/IP, and CAN-bus.
• Experience in selecting and calibrating sensors, as well as understanding measurement uncertainty and signal processing to ensure accuracy in the system.
• Understanding of safety standards and protocols (e.g., IEC 61508, ISO 26262) for designing safe and reliable control systems.
• Ability to quickly analyze and solve problems in the system, often using troubleshooting tools and data analysis from the control system.
• Familiarity with and experience working according to Swedish and international standards.
• You are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
