About the Role

For many years, AFRY has successfully supported energy producers and distributors. The energy market is currently experiencing its largest growth since Sweden was electrified, and the need for investments in distribution and transmission networks is enormous in the coming years. At AFRY Distribution, we are currently about 50 consultants who are involved in expanding and developing the future electricity grid, and we need to grow our team!

Our assignments may include everything from pre-studies, planning, and design to completed facility modifications. Projects can be carried out both under AFRY's management and as hired resources at the customer's site. We carry out projects of various sizes ranging from maintenance, reconstruction, new connections, or reinvestments. In other words, we have a wide range of expertise that enables us to help both our customers and each other to develop!

At AFRY, you will have the opportunity to develop in the role of Power Consultant and work closely with wonderful and competent colleagues, collaborating closely with the industry's most important customers. You will have the opportunity to work on design, preparation, and construction, as well as with power quality investigations, connection of wind and solar parks, project and construction management, and assignment management. If you are interested in leadership, we would like you to take on the role of mentor for junior colleagues.

Possible locations include Stockholm, Uppsala, Bollnäs, Östersund, Umeå, Skellefteå, Visby, Halmstad, Malmö, Gothenburg, Trollhättan, Norrköping, Linköping, Oskarshamn, Kalmar, Växjö, Hässleholm, Karlskrona, Värnamo, Karlshamn.

Job Requirements

Furthermore, you are a humble team player with a genuine interest in building and maintaining good relationships internally as well as externally, with a customer-oriented mindset.

To succeed in the role:

• You have a relevant technical education at the high school or university level with a focus on electrical power or equivalent work experience.
• You have at least 3 years of competence and experience in the preparation, design, and project management of the power grid - or competence and experience as a connection engineer, documentation engineer, network planner, construction manager, or assignment manager.
• You have experience in the role of a consultant.
• You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English as both languages are frequently used both within AFRY and with our customers.
