Job Responsibilities - What will you do?

As a nursing assistant or caregiver in home care, you will have an independent and varied job where you make a difference every day. You work in the clients' own homes and provide support based on their needs and care plans. Job tasks may include:

• Personal care - Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and supervision as needed.
• Practical support - Assistance with meals, shopping, and other daily tasks.
• Social support - Conversations, companionship, and creating a sense of security.
• Documentation - Accurate documentation of completed services according to assistance decisions and routines.
• Emergency alarms – quickly responding to urgent needs of clients who have triggered an alarm. We work on behalf of Österåker municipality and are responsible for both regular home care tasks and handling emergency alarms between 07:00 and 22:30. This means a varied assignment with both planned and more urgent interventions.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has their heart in the right place and enjoys working closely with people. To fit in with us, we hope you have the following qualities and qualifications:

• Education - It is an advantage if you are a trained nursing assistant and have experience working in home care.
• Swedish in speech and writing - You master Swedish at a level that allows you to communicate clearly and document professionally.
• Driving license - You are a safe driver and accustomed to driving for work. (Requirement)
• Stress resilience - You handle pressured situations with calm, structure, and responsibility.
• Independence - You enjoy working independently and taking your own initiatives, but also collaborate well with colleagues.
• Empathy - You have a genuine desire to help others and understand the importance of addressing each client's individual needs.
• Communication skills - You find it easy to express yourself, collaborate, and build good relationships.
• Flexibility - You are solution-oriented and adapt to the needs of clients and the demands of the business.
• Attention to detail - You are responsible and perform your work with high quality and care for details.

Working hours and employment rate

• Working hours: Evening hours 15:30–22:30.
• Workdays: Monday to Sunday as agreed.
• Employment rate: Varies, depending on your preferences and the needs of the business.
• Starting point: You will start from our office in Åkersberga. We prefer that you live nearby to facilitate travel to and from work.

Aleo Omsorg is a family-owned company founded in 2017 that provides home care services in Täby, Vallentuna, Österåker, Vaxholm, and Oxelösund. Currently, we operate in the areas of home care, housing support, and home service.

We strive for as high personnel continuity as possible in our planning. At the office, we have administrative staff who plan employees and clients in several different geographical areas.

We have modern environmentally friendly electric hybrid cars, work clothes, wellness grants, and work modernly with digital systems for work schedules and client interventions. We have a collective agreement with Fremia. All employees are insured during their employment and offered occupational pension.
