Kronan Care and Nursing Home strives to be at the forefront of developing and utilizing interventions that contribute to positive effects for both individuals and society at large. We work to ensure that our elderly receive the care they need from competent staff and that Luleå Municipality is perceived as an attractive employer.

We are now looking for 8 team leaders who want to help ensure high quality in the care and services we offer. Working hours are during the day with weekend shifts every fourth weekend.

The team leader assignment is time-limited and starts in March/April 2025. After one year, an evaluation will be conducted, with the possibility of extending the team leader assignment for another year. Fundamentally, you will have a permanent employment as a nursing assistant or specialist nursing assistant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of team leader at Kronan, you are responsible for ensuring that our users receive high-quality care and that your colleagues receive the support they need in their work. You will have primary responsibility for two departments and work on behalf of the unit manager, where you act as a pillar and guide for the team and contribute to creating a safe and well-functioning work environment. Some health and medical care tasks may also be included in the assignment.

An important part of your work is to mentor and support colleagues, both in daily tasks and during specific challenges. You are also responsible for distributing and reallocating tasks and resources as needed to ensure a smooth workflow.

You play a central role in the development of the operations by:

  • Identifying training needs and suggesting improvements together with the unit manager.
  • Gathering and forwarding needs and requests from users and relatives.
  • Updating and maintaining the practical professional planning (PPP) in the department.

Another important part of the role is to support colleagues in administrative tasks, where you provide assistance with documentation in the systems Combine and DF-respons.

As a team leader, you are a key person for both your colleagues, the users, and their relatives, and your work makes a clear difference every day.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or specialist nursing assistant and has experience and solid knowledge in care and nursing. To succeed in the role, you need a combination of leadership skills, structure, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

As a person, you are confident in your role and comfortable handling both independent work and difficult situations. You dare to make decisions and have the courage to have tough conversations when required. Additionally, you are pedagogical and have the ability to teach and guide your colleagues.

You are structured and have a good sense of planning and goal-oriented work. Analyzing and following up on deviations is a natural part of your working method. You also work person-centered to ensure that each individual receives the care and support they need.

Collaboration is one of your strengths. You see solutions where others see obstacles and have a flexible attitude that allows you to adapt to changing situations. When needed, you are not afraid to step in and contribute practically to daily work.
