Emergency Department and IVAK Kalix Hospital (Emergency Care)

Period: Feb 3 (week 6) – Mar 30 (week 13)

We are looking for an experienced nurse who has previously worked in an emergency department.

We are an IVAK unit = Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. The unit includes both an emergency department (approximately 35 patients per day) with acute care beds where patients can be cared for for one day and an intensive care unit. The staff works across the boundaries of the Emergency Department and ICU, assisting each other during high pressure and various medical conditions. Experience in intermediate care and/or HIA is desirable.

It is important to be good at collaboration.

Note! For individuals who have not worked with us before, it is desirable to have 2 introductory days, minimum 1 shift.
