Do you want to work in an international role where advanced technology meets complex business and long-term customer relationships? Tekda is a global provider of automation solutions for spring manufacturing – with customers in medical technology, automotive industry, and consumer products.

We develop, manufacture, and service our systems from our headquarters in Järfälla, Stockholm. We are now looking for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer – a key person who wants to drive our global customer relationships and lead the sales efforts within our spring winding systems business area.

About the role

As a Senior Technical Sales Engineer, you will have overall commercial responsibility for driving and developing sales globally within your product area. You will report directly to the business area manager at Tekda. You will lead the sales process from the first customer contact to closing the deal – often in complex, technology-heavy projects with long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers. You will work closely with both customers and Tekda's internal specialists in design and R&D to develop solutions that meet the technical and production requirements of our customers. Tekda is an international company with customers all over the world – from Europe and Asia to North America – which means that the role combines strategic business building with operational customer work in a global environment.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead the sales process from first contact to closure – globally.

• Be responsible for strategic customer relationships and follow-up at the management level.

• Identify and drive new business opportunities in existing and new markets.

• Collaborate with Tekda's technical specialists and R&D to develop customized automation solutions.

• Understand customers' production challenges in depth and be able to translate them into technical and commercial offers.

• Participate in product strategy work to ensure that the product range develops in line with market needs.

• Represent Tekda at international customer meetings, trade fairs, and demonstrations.

We are looking for someone who has

• A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or equivalent.

• 5–10 years of experience in technical sales, project sales, or business development within industry, machinery, or automation.

• Experience in driving complex business with multiple contact points and long decision-making paths.

• Strong technical understanding – you speak the same language as our customers' technicians and R&D.

• Experience in international sales and negotiation in English.

• Structured, self-driven, and results-oriented with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Travel abroad is part of the job.
