Are you a driven mechanical engineer looking to make a significant impact in the field of HVDC technology (high voltage direct current transmission)? At our client, you will be involved in the initial phase of groundbreaking projects, requiring seamless coordination with various stakeholders and clients worldwide.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform 3D CAD modeling of components and assemblies at various levels and create accurate 2D drawings and layouts for manufacturing
- Utilize design principles and guidelines governing the electromechanical architecture of HVDC stations, both onshore and offshore
- Evaluate, select, and apply established techniques and protocols to design station layouts during the bidding phase
- Create comprehensive bids for engineering commitments, including material estimates and risk assessments, etc.
- Compile essential documentation and CAD models and collaborate effectively with clients, suppliers, and contractors to meet project goals
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
Qualifications:
- Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Experience in industrial or facility design
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and skill in creating 2D drawings/layouts using software such as NX/TC or SolidWorks
- You are curious about new technologies and strive to continuously develop your own skills and knowledge
- You are collaborative and solution-oriented with good communication skills
- Previous experience in high voltage/extra high voltage station technology projects is advantageous
