ABOUT THE POSITION:

As an automation engineer, you will be part of a team of 35 people and participate in driving process engineering solutions in projects of varying sizes and complexities. You will be the technical owner in projects and work with feasibility studies, pre-projects, and implementation of both small and large development projects at our facilities spread across Sweden.

Common tasks include requirement specification, technology development, design, procurement, and commissioning. You will be based in the Gothenburg office, but there will be some travel within Sweden and Europe.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive a range of projects and activities within various focus areas.
  • Participate in driving process engineering solutions in projects of varying sizes and complexities.
  • Act as technical owner in projects and work with feasibility studies, pre-projects, and implementation of the client's facilities.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:
  • Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, automation, or equivalent education.
  • Has 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role.
  • As the role encompasses a broad stack, we prefer that you have experience in areas such as HMI, Design, PLC programming, electrical components, or similar.
  • Has a valid driver's license (B).
  • Is fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as these languages are used internally and externally.

It is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience in production management within Industry 4.0.
  • Have experience in programming and implementing OT systems, such as PLC and SCADA.
  • Have experience in automation, plastic, battery, or recycling industries.

Furthermore, we believe that you have good collaboration skills and enjoy working in teams. We also think you are driven, attentive to details, and possess a strong technical interest.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consultancy assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will subsequently be permanently employed by the client company.

  • Scope: Full-time.
  • Start: Immediately/By agreement.
  • Location: Gothenburg.
  • Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
