ValueOne is looking for an experienced Contract Manager with knowledge in civil engineering and construction in Stockholm for a long-term assignment with our client in Stockholm. The assignment starts as soon as possible and extends over 12 months with a great possibility of extension.

ValueOne specializes in Supply Chain Management – procurement and logistics. About the role

In the role of Contract Manager, you will have a key responsibility to ensure that contract terms are followed and that project deliveries are made according to plan. You will work with collaborative contracts within civil engineering sub-projects, primarily based on AB04, but other contract forms may also occur.

Main responsibilities:

  • Monitor delivery and performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage contract execution and propose and implement changes as needed.
  • Document contract activities, including performance reports and compliance documentation.
  • Handle and negotiate contract-related disputes or disagreements.
  • Conduct regular contract reviews and audits.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration internally and with contractors.
  • Report to work package owners and contract/procurement leaders regarding performance, issues, and solutions related to the contract.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with contract compliance.
  • Contribute to a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.

Travel for work may occur.

Experience and competence

To succeed in this role, we see that you have solid experience as a Contract Manager within construction, civil engineering, and infrastructure. You have good knowledge of AB04 and other relevant contract forms, as well as experience working with collaborative contracts. You are accustomed to working in a structured and independent manner, have well-developed communication and negotiation skills, and are confident in handling complex contract issues in larger project organizations.
