We are looking for curious students! If you are studying to become a dentist, dental hygienist, or dental nurse, you can work at one of Folktandvården's clinics in Västerbotten during the summer. Take the opportunity to gain practical experience for a few weeks this summer while getting to know us and our operations!

Folktandvården Västerbotten offers general dental care, specialist dental care in all specialties, and conducts dental technical operations. We also participate in the clinical education of dentists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses. We offer modern and well-equipped clinics and are at the forefront of research and development through our close collaboration with the Department of Odontology at Umeå University.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job responsibilities vary depending on how far you have progressed in your education. You will participate in various examinations and treatments and naturally connect theory and practice. For those at the beginning of their education, this means learning sterilization work, the basics of hygiene routines, and handling instruments. For those further along in their education, assistance and certain administrative tasks will be added. For dental students who have completed term nine, there is the possibility to apply for special appointments with the National Board of Health and Welfare to work with temporary authorization.

QUALIFICATIONS

To qualify for this job, you need to be a student in a dental nurse program, dental hygienist program, or dental program.
