Head Chef for Fish Restaurant!

Kvarkenfisk, awarded as one of Sweden's best dining experiences in the White Guide for seven consecutive years before the pandemic, is seeking a new head chef to stimulate and further develop both the facility and the business.

An innovative and inspiring Head Chef who loves to cook and wants to drive and further develop our unique fish restaurant concept by the sea. In the role of Head Chef, you will have operational and quality responsibility for the business, working in operations and responsible for planning, staff, purchasing, etc.

You have several years of industry experience, are an engaged and natural leader who can inspire and create an effective team with clarity and warmth. You communicate openly and directly and have a strong focus on collaboration and leveraging collective skills, always with the customer's best interest in mind.

Located at the beautiful Rovögerns fishing site, just north of Umeå via a newly constructed road, you will find Kvarkenfisk - the fish restaurant by the sea. Thanks to fishing and our knowledge in processing, we can offer delicacies directly from the sea, prepared by our skilled chefs! Kvarkenfisk has been awarded for the sixth consecutive year by the White Guide as one of Sweden's best dining experiences. We host 18,000 lunch/dinner guests during the summer season and over 2,000 Christmas buffet guests. Our concept includes lunches/dinners, Christmas buffets, corporate events for up to 150 people, private parties, guest harbor/fuel station, caravan/camper camping, and accommodation by the sea.
