About the position

As a transport vehicle mechanic at Wist Last & Buss in Örnsköldsvik, you will be part of a skilled and cohesive team working with service, troubleshooting, and repairs of Iveco and Volvo transport vehicles as well as other light heavy vehicles. The work includes mechanical maintenance, advanced troubleshooting, as well as electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic work on the entire vehicle.

Your role will include, among other things:

• Performing repairs and service according to work orders.
• Conducting troubleshooting on transport vehicles and light trucks.
• Providing documentation for ordering spare parts.
• Conducting self-checks and quality assuring completed work.
• Compiling work orders and reporting to the workshop manager.
• Contributing technical support and assistance to colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a vehicle engineering education and at least two years of experience as a transport vehicle mechanic. You are used to working independently but also function well in a team, and you have a genuine interest in vehicle and transport technology.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing transport vehicles and light trucks.
• Good computer skills and experience with diagnostic tools.
• Driver's license class B (heavier license is an advantage).
• Knowledge in hydraulics, vehicle electronics, transport refrigeration, or superstructures is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English.
