Within our operations, we have both day surgery, inpatient, and emergency patients of all ages; all operated patients are cared for at Sunderby Hospital. We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and experience with the journal systems Cosmic and Provisio. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in postoperative or day surgery operations and if you have worked as a nurse for at least two years.

Furthermore, we see that you are proactive, initiate activities, drive them forward, and achieve results. You are also stable and can maintain calm in stressful and pressured situations.

This is what you will work with

This position is a rotation position, meaning you will rotate between several departments. The work in PostOP is varied and educational; here you meet patients of all ages, with a wide variety of surgical procedures. In PostOP, patients who have undergone major surgery with a more demanding and longer postoperative course are cared for. We provide round-the-clock care, every day of the year. In UVA, we have 10 monitoring places, as well as a separate children's UVA with 5 monitoring places and its own child flow. We also have an anesthesia doctor's reception. UVA/DKE is open Monday to Thursday from 07:00 to 20:00 and Fridays from 07:00 to 16:00. This rotation position gives you the opportunity for a very varied and diverse job.

Information about the position

We offer two permanent full-time positions with working hours scheduled for days, evenings, and nights. Start date by agreement, selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
