ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for segments within breathing equipment and firefighting. You will drive the products forward, provide technical support to sales, ensure product quality, and ensure that product approvals and documentation are correct. The role involves many internal contacts with R&D and sales, as well as external contacts with suppliers and customers. You will have a comprehensive view of the products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Be responsible and act as the product owner for the product portfolio.
Provide product support and training to both the organization and customers.
Support sales in procurement as a technical expert.
Ensure that products have relevant certifications and approvals, such as CE marking, and drive these processes.
Provide input and direction for product development, participate in the launch of new products, and be responsible for the management of existing products.
Establish functional descriptions and drive the introduction of new products.
Gather market information and customer needs for strategic decisions regarding future product development.
Actively work on pricing for the product portfolio and manage the phase-out of older products.
Ensure and maintain product documentation and user manuals so that the information is kept up to date and relevant.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Have an academic degree in engineering, industrial economics, or equivalent work experience.
Have documented experience in product management.
Can read and create technical specifications and functional descriptions.
Have advanced knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as you will collaborate a lot with international contacts as well as Swedish.
Can take responsibility, prioritize, and drive your own area with a proactive approach.

It is a merit if you have:

Experience from a similar role within a technology company that works with physical products.
Experience in product development within international organizations.
Good understanding of modularity and platform thinking in product development.
Experience with product approvals and regulatory processes.
