Do you want to work with the youngest patients in the hospital? Here at the pediatric and youth department, you will meet patients from newborns up to 18 years old, with a wide range of diagnoses and needs.

We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse. It is advantageous if you have training as a pediatric nurse and previous experience in pediatric care. Great emphasis is placed on personal qualities. You value and see the benefits of collaboration with others. You easily adapt to changing circumstances. You take initiative, start activities, and achieve results. You remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful or pressuring situations.


What you will work with

At the Pediatric and Youth Department 44B, we have 12 care places. As a nurse with us, you work closely with the whole family and are an important part of creating safety and good care. Since the variation is large when it comes to the patients' age, diagnosis, and needs, the work with us is varied, developing, and educational. We can be described as the small hospital within the hospital, as patients from both pediatric medicine and orthopedics, surgery, and ENT are cared for here.

When you start in the department, you will receive thorough onboarding and become part of an engaged team where collaboration and competence are in focus. We use TimeCare for scheduling, which gives you the opportunity to influence your working hours.

Information about the position

The employment is a full-time temporary position or according to agreement from January 12, 2026, to January 31, 2027, with the possibility of extension. Working hours are on a rotational basis. Start date is January 12, 2026, or according to agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
