Job Description

We are looking for a driven and self-sufficient UX consultant for an important assignment. The main purpose of the role is to migrate our existing design assets and components from Adobe XD to Figma.

This work is crucial for establishing a more robust and complete design system, which in turn will significantly increase efficiency for both our designers and developers.

The assignment is limited in scope, and you are expected to work very independently with minimal daily guidance. No specific domain knowledge is required to carry out this migration.

Responsibilities

Design System Migration: Move existing design assets, components, and libraries from Adobe XD to Figma.

Prioritization: Start the migration with the most critical assets, specifically those related to MX Logics, and then continue with what is deemed to have the highest priority.

Quality Assurance: Ensure that the migrated assets in Figma are correct, well-structured, and follow best practices to contribute to a robust design system.

Independent Work: Drive the assignment forward in an independent and isolated manner with very limited guidance from the existing UX designer.

Qualifications

• Solid and practical experience working with Adobe XD.
• Solid and practical experience working with Figma, including setting up and managing design libraries/design systems.
• Strong understanding of fundamental UX/UI principles and best practices for design systems.
• Ability to work very independently and manage a limited assignment with minimal supervision.
• Fluent in English and/or Swedish, both spoken and written.

Preferred:

• Experience in previously conducting similar migrations between design tools (e.g., XD to Figma).
• Experience working with components and automation aimed at improving developer efficiency.
