Warehouse Worker Wanted at ICA in Västerås

Do you want to work as a warehouse worker starting in January 2026? Do you have another job or are you studying and can work 2-3 full weekdays a week during the semesters with the possibility to work more during Christmas, Easter, and summer?

The tasks as a forklift driver/warehouse worker at ICA's warehouse in Västerås will mainly involve driving forklifts and picking goods by hand with the help of a voice unit that instructs you on what to pick. The tasks are physically demanding, characterized by a high work pace and clear goals where you work in different temperature zones.

We are currently recruiting with a preliminary introduction starting Thursday week 1, week 2, and week 3, and continuing into the spring. Please note that the introduction is scheduled for 11.5 working days and requires 100% attendance!

Phone interviews will be conducted continuously starting week 43. To be eligible for the position, it is a REQUIREMENT that you have another job or studies of at least 50% and have at least one year left in your studies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be eligible for the position, you must be very flexible in your availability and able to work daytime at least 2 full weekdays a week, weekends are in addition. ICA has warehouse operations around the clock every day of the week. You who are applying should see this as a long-term extra job and have a high work ethic.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by StudentConsulting but will be hired out to our client ICA.

Furthermore, you should have:

• Forklift license A1-4 (REQUIRED), experience driving is an advantage.
• Good physical condition.
• Approved criminal record.
• Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• Driving license B and access to your own car to quickly get to the workplace is an advantage.
