We are looking for an Orthopedic Technical Patient Receiver - Welcome to Ottobock Care!

Ottobock Care is one of Sweden's largest orthopedic technical operations with clinics in 20 locations across Sweden, and together with Ottobock, we are one of the world's leading suppliers in orthopedic technology. We receive patients via referrals as well as private individuals in need of prostheses, orthoses, seating aids, and orthopedic shoes or insoles. Ottobock Care in Eskilstuna is located at Mälarsjukhuset, and we thus have close collaboration with the rest of the hospital in terms of teamwork and the ability to receive emergency patients. We have just over 15 employees at the workplace where we have a close collaboration with each other, and there is an opportunity to learn to work with most orthopedic technical aids available on the market. A position with us means great variation, but we would like you to have an interest in working a bit extra with prostheses.

As an Orthopedic Technical Patient Receiver with us, you work to improve the quality of life for people by enhancing their mobility and independence. Your main tasks consist of meeting patients to assess, adapt, and fit aids according to our prescription process. Initially, you will work with aids in the form of orthopedic shoes and insoles but with the opportunity to later expand your knowledge with additional aids tailored to needs, skills, and interests.

We offer

The position is a permanent full-time position located in Eskilstuna. Working hours according to schedule, weekdays during the day. Start date for the position is by agreement. We have a collective agreement, which means you are covered by collective agreement insurance. Travel in the service may occur.

You who are applying are a trained physiotherapist. We prefer that you have worked at least 1 year as a physiotherapist or physical therapist. It is an advantage if you have experience in orthopedic technology. You are proficient in both Swedish and English and have good computer skills.

You take independent responsibility for your tasks, drive your own processes, and ensure they are completed. When a problem arises, you focus your energy on finding solutions and maintain your focus on the goal. In collaboration with others, you contribute knowledge and experience while being attentive and respectful and looking out for the best interests of the group.
