Site Manager – The CEO's Right Hand in a Growing Contracting Company

About Marcus Naessén Entreprenad MNE AB in Nyköping delivers railway maintenance, track work, and construction work – from thermite welding and switch construction to earthworks, excavation, and road maintenance. We operate nationwide, with assignments for clients such as Strukton, Infranord, Infrakraft, Svevia, and Vattenfall. The Role in Brief This is a hands-on site manager role where you will also be the CEO's right hand. You lead the daily operations close to production, take initiative where needed, and build trust through values, delivery, and drive – heart first, ego last. The team you work with consists of about 30 people: you are not a salary-setting manager, but you act like one, set frameworks, and make things happen.

Your Mission • Ensure that planning, staffing, machinery, and materials flow smoothly – in both construction and railway. • Keep track of the finances in daily operations: ensuring prices are calculated correctly, changes are captured, and invoicing is done accurately and on time. • Quality and compliance: ensure that certificates/qualifications are available, valid, and submitted to relevant parties/government authorities. • Work environment and order: drive safety thinking, risk management, and professional behavior on site. • Be the CEO's extended arm: initiate, follow up, and complete tasks – with personal responsibility and close dialogue.

Who You Are • Fearless doer with substantial experience and good judgment – you take initiative but are attentive and easy to collaborate with. • Operational leader who thrives in the field, close to the machines, people, and customers – this is not a purely office-based role. • Structured and financially aware: you understand calculations, time logs, changes, revenues/costs, and how small details affect results. • Down-to-earth team player: “one of the gang” who builds trust by delivering and being fair – not through titles.

Your Background • Experience in site management/production-related roles within construction, earthworks, or railway – or broad operational experience where you are ready for the next step. • Familiar with (or have worked with) issues such as planning, machinery/material flows, certificates/qualifications, and invoicing documentation. • It is an advantage if you have experience in the railway environment (tracks, switches, welding, inspection) or construction (excavation, roads, water and sewage), but the key is your maturity and working style.

Practical Information • Location: Flättnaleden 9, 611 45 Nyköping. A valid driver's license (B) and good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form are required. • Scope: Full-time. Employment type: Permanent with a probationary period as agreed.
