About the Position

We are seeking a construction engineer for our client ÄC-konsult. The role is suitable for you who want to work in a small and streamlined organization where you have significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence. The projects primarily involve concrete buildings with high safety requirements, and the position entails a broad role where you work both independently and in close collaboration with other functions. The position is full-time during the day and starts with a six-month probationary period before transitioning to a permanent position. The work location is Eskilstuna, with the possibility of some remote work once you feel secure in the role.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for project management during the design phase, coordinating the various parts of the project and ensuring that all parties involved deliver according to plan. You will work on creating construction drawings in Tekla and also use AutoCAD and the Office suite as a natural part of your work. You will gather project requirements, create a comprehensive picture of needs, and follow up to ensure that the right activities are carried out, such as material orders and other practical aspects related to the project's development. Since the organization is small, it is also important that you enjoy working without prestige and can contribute where needed, even outside your core competencies.

We are looking for someone who

We are looking for you who are a construction engineer or have equivalent experience (e.g., project-leading prefab constructor or project manager in construction) and have worked for at least five years in a similar role. You thrive in a smaller company where tasks vary and where your flexibility and lack of prestige become important assets. For the position, experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, and the Office suite is required. It is also a requirement that you are a Swedish citizen, have no criminal record, and can undergo a security clearance as the projects involve high safety requirements. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and also benefit from understanding English. A driver's license is required, and you should appreciate working both structured and practically close to the operation.
