The Technical Division operates independently and consists of five areas: Street/Park/Harbor, Nyköping Water, Waste Management, Municipal Properties, and Meal Services. These are supported by a project department, an economics department, and an administrative staff. The division employs about 400 permanent staff. Our clients are the Municipal Executive Board, the Environmental and Community Planning Committee, and the Culture and Recreation Committee.

Nyköping Water is responsible for all water and sewage operations within the municipality, which includes the operation, maintenance, and development of water and sewage plants, pumping stations, and pipelines. The operations include 7 waterworks, 3 water towers, 12 sewage plants, 90 sewage pumping stations, a pipeline network of 90 miles, and its own water laboratory.

We are now looking for an engaged and structured team leader for the Pipe Network, Maintenance at Nyköping Water. Your main task is to lead the excavation teams and other functions within the Pipe Network.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Be responsible for planning and distributing work orders as well as the daily operational work within the Pipe Network department.
• Perform work in the water bank, including reporting operational disturbances and registering and handling work orders.
• Be out in the field supporting the excavation teams and providing operational support to the unit's overall operations.
• Coordinate and follow up on work efforts carried out by internal resources and external contractors.
• Actively participate in improvement work and the development of routines, methods, and working practices.
• Maintain close cooperation and ongoing dialogue with colleagues within the operations.
• Contribute to a good, safe, and sustainable work environment and ensure that established timelines are adhered to.
• Support larger projects and take a leading role in smaller projects.
• Ensure order and efficiency in inventory management and that the operations have good and modern tools.
• Ensure that routines, instructions, and checklists exist, are implemented, and followed within the operations.
• Participate in and, if necessary, coordinate the various meeting forums of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in water and sewage operations, Pipe Network, or technical contracting.
• Experience in team leadership, coordination, or operational leadership roles in the field.
• Good understanding of work environment regulations, excavation work, and safety requirements.
• Technical interest and basic knowledge of water systems and pipeline work.
• Good IT skills and ability to work in digital systems.
• Good Swedish in both spoken and written form.
• Driver's license (B).
