About the Position

As a technician at Wist Last & Buss in Örnsköldsvik, you will be part of a skilled and cohesive team working with service, troubleshooting, and repair of Iveco transport vehicles, Volvo buses, and other buses. The work includes everything from mechanical maintenance and advanced troubleshooting to electrical, hydraulic, and diagnostic work on the entire vehicle.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing repairs and service according to work orders.
• Conducting complete troubleshooting on heavy vehicles.
• Providing documentation for ordering spare parts.
• Informing customer reception or team leaders about additional work.
• Conducting self-checks and ensuring quality of completed work.
• Compiling work orders and reporting to the workshop manager.
• Providing technical support and assistance to colleagues.

We are looking for someone who

To succeed in this role, we believe you have a vehicle engineering education and at least two years of experience as a bus or truck mechanic. You are used to working independently but also function well in a team, and you have a genuine interest in vehicle technology.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing heavy vehicles.
• Good computer skills and experience with diagnostic tools.
• Driver's license B (heavier license is an advantage).
• Knowledge in hydraulics, vehicle electronics, transport refrigeration, or superstructures is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Swedish or English.
