Psychiatric Clinic Inpatient Care, Högland Hospital Eksjö

The Psychiatric Clinic currently consists of merged departments, but the goal is to reopen two separate units. We are now looking for nurses who want to be part of developing the future of psychiatric care. Welcome to join us on this exciting journey!

The Role of the Nurse

The role of the nurse includes tasks such as:

  • Leading all steps of the nursing process together with the rest of the department's team, in collaboration with patients and relatives
  • Coordinating care plans in collaboration with doctors and others in the team
  • Actively working on improvement projects to develop care

The positions are permanent and offer 100% employment, but there is flexibility for other requests. Start date is by agreement. Work is scheduled for days, evenings, and two out of five weekends. Desired schedules are applied.

At the Psychiatric Clinic, Höglandet, we are about 190 employees working in the referral and assessment unit, emergency reception, inpatient care, with two wards, as well as outpatient clinics in Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda. For us, it is important to always keep the patient in focus. Our vision is “We care for a good life.” We create trust and good conditions for effective qualitative specialist psychiatric care through a holistic view and continuity in the care chain. Participation and information to patients, relatives, and staff are prerequisites for success, as is collaboration with care neighbors. The clinic's resources are allocated in a way that considers both the clinic perspective and regional psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of joint care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Experience in the profession and psychiatry is considered an advantage but is not a requirement.
