We are now looking for a Purchasing Manager who wants to play a key role in our projects and help ensure efficient, sustainable, and quality-assured purchasing processes! Department Description Victor Energy is a rapidly developing business where purchasing plays a crucial role in ensuring our projects are carried out efficiently and with high quality. Our team works closely with both internal functions and external partners to ensure that the right resources, contracts, and suppliers are in place at the right time. The role is based in central Ludvika at our new, beautiful office. About the Role

As a Purchasing Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the purchasing lifecycle – from tender management and contracts to supplier relationships and follow-up. The role involves a wide range of responsibilities where you ensure that quality, financial, and regulatory requirements are met while contributing to strengthening our processes and developing our purchasing function. You will work closely with colleagues in commercial operations, project management, finance, and with the contract manager, as well as build long-term relationships with external suppliers and partners.

Examples of Main Responsibilities:

  • Implement and develop the purchasing process, including tender management, project purchasing, and follow-up
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and consultants
  • Ensure that customer requirements are transferred into projects with the support of the contract manager
  • Ensure supplier and quality requirements, including audits, follow-up, and reporting
  • Negotiate prices and volume discounts
  • Evaluate insourcing and manage strategic supplier data

Requirements Profile 

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Purchasing, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in purchasing, logistics, or freight forwarding, preferably in a project environment
  • Very good knowledge of purchasing processes, including RFQ, purchase orders, and contract negotiations
  • Understanding of industry standards such as AB04 and ABT06
  • Good system proficiency and experience with MS Office
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious for the position:

  • Experience with purchasing systems
  • Experience in transport and customs coordination
