Economy and Procurement Department

We are looking for a procurement officer for the Economy and Procurement Department, which consists of a total of eight people. The department has two procurement officers and one e-commerce coordinator. With us, you have the opportunity to influence and make a difference for our citizens and our community. Job Responsibilities

In the role of procurement officer, you will be offered a stimulating and varied job with many internal and external contacts. The work is independent but in close collaboration with other employees within the municipality's operations. The tasks provide a holistic perspective, where you become a central person in the process. In 2026, the internal work routines and division of labor will be reviewed between the two procurement officers who will work together. This means that you will have the opportunity to influence the process.

Your tasks will involve planning and conducting procurements from start to signed contract. The work encompasses the entire process from market research, preparation of procurement documents, advertising, evaluation of incoming bids, negotiation and contract writing, to assisting and participating in the follow-up and management of contracts in our contract database.

The work involves a project-leading and consultative role regarding contracts, procurement issues, and the procurements for which the unit is responsible. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively, as you often have several projects ongoing simultaneously. Your experience and confidence allow you to comfortably take on the role of project leader, and sometimes you provide advice and support to the organization or train within the organization.

Other tasks may also occur, and the content and conditions of the work may change over time.

We use E-avrop as our procurement tool.

Qualifications

We see that you have:

Experience working with procurements according to LOU/LUF or purchasing within the public sector
Good knowledge of the regulations regarding public procurement and good knowledge of working with contracts
Experience working independently and managing your own projects
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Post-secondary education relevant to the area

Experience working in digital procurement systems, project management, and strategic purchasing is considered an advantage.
