Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to individuals struggling with alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. Our services include emergency and inpatient care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We also conduct university healthcare, research, and education.

We are now looking for a nurse for one of our clinics in Södermalm that provides medication-assisted treatment for patients with opioid dependence.

Our team consists of nurses, nursing assistants, specialist doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers, and medical secretaries. We work together with the patient towards increased quality of life and also collaborate with other healthcare providers, social services, and correctional services. About the role
As a nurse, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient's care together with the patient and the interdisciplinary team. The work is based on evidence-based methods, and the goal is to provide the patient with improved mental and physical health as well as increased social functioning. You will work with motivational and relapse prevention conversations, medication management, and sampling.

The work is varied and requires flexibility. Our patients often have psychiatric comorbidities and somatic issues related to their addiction. We work person-centered based on individual care plans, and the treatment often involves close collaboration with other healthcare providers, social services, correctional services, and other relevant actors. Through good and respectful interactions, we see the person behind the addiction.

We are constantly striving to improve the quality of care for our patients and see development work as part of our daily tasks.

Qualifications
We expect you to be a licensed nurse with a strong interest and commitment to our patient group. Specialist training in psychiatry or experience in addiction care/psychiatry is an advantage.
